How We Started

TestDay began in 2013 in West Yorkshire, helping learner drivers who'd found a test slot but had no dual-control car and instructor to take it in. Over the years that grew into a nationwide network — we've since worked with over 50 driving instructors across the UK and helped thousands of learners get to their test on time, including many booked at very short notice.

What We Actually Do

We match you with a local, DVSA-approved ADI instructor and a fully insured dual-control car for your test day, typically including a warm-up lesson beforehand so the car and roads aren't a surprise on the day itself. Every instructor in our network is fully qualified and DVSA-approved — that's not negotiable.

We specialise in short-notice bookings: cancellation slots, emergency retests, and same-day requests that most driving schools can't accommodate. If you've found a test date and need the car and instructor sorted quickly, that's the exact problem we exist to solve.
